((AUDIO ; Locked from Luke))It's come to my attention recently that something here is extremely amiss. Perhaps it's an amiss something that nobody has noticed until now, but there is absolutely no doubt that we have a liar in our midst ( Read more... )

It's no use criticizing me: look at it this way, if I hadn't said it, somebody else would have. I'll take my blame, but it could be better this way.

We don't know what they'll do if they're found out!

[They haven't even found out where the real ones are yet.]

Then we have to work fast.

Obviously! [Shit. He anticipated this too, just not to soon.]

What else do ya know?

Kaito is acting odd, though I've only just noticed this. Perhaps you know him. Other than that, I'm unfamiliar with any other strange activity.

It seems also that they aren't competently aware of their disguise's full background. Luke seemed quite confused in regards to details about London, the city he was born and grew up in, but both the real Luke and the fake expressed an interest in puzzles.

Yeah I already knew about him. There's at least half'a dozen of 'em.

I noticed their lack of background too. What they know is prolly what they stalked over th' course of our stay here. People reported seein' shadows outta th' corners of their eyes during our travel ta Dissimulo. These figures continued ta linger fer sometime, became dormant, an' then recently resumed activity about 14 or 15 days ago.

You can't be suggesting mere shadows have something to do with this.

I'm jus' tellin' ya th' details. Don't go makin' premature assumptions of things I tell ya.

[He had standards okay. He didn't believe it anymore than Clive did. In act he was under the impression the captors may have been behind it.]

I don't know who's behind this yet. I haven't found any clues.

[He's been looking real hard too.]

Perhaps there's more need to get our hands upon one than I'd suspected. That may hold more answers.

Interrogatin' isn't always a useful method, but those who wanna are free ta try.

Oh? Then you're proposing there's a more useful method in this situation?

It's likely a large group runnin' it. Yer gonna hafta narrow it down.

And how do you presume we narrow them down?

Th' ones most likely ta crack. It's easy ta do based on personality alone.

See, you've circled right back to my original point. Interrogation is what we need, but you mean on a sort of... Simpleton in nature. If we got this fake Luke, it may prove good, but a more complex subject may provide better and more useful I formation. I would reason we'd need to get our hands on two for optimal results, and simultaneously as to not arouse suspicion among the remaining.
