But it happened right here in the City, is that not reason enough for concern? The man murdered in the bookstore in Misery Square was liquified and that killer will most certainly strike again.
Mm. In Misery Square. People were killed in the alleyways and tortured prior to death. The storekeep of the bookstore near the fountain was turned to pulp and placed in a box. I am surprised more people are not aware of this.
I think we need a better system to keep people from killing each other. I'd like those who can't stand against the stronger and more uh...homicidal around here to be protected.
Something like that. Although you'd have to select members carefully. A corrupt police force is always shitty, but considering the abilities of people here thrown into the mix? It'd be disaster if the wrong people applied.
And we have a court system now, I guess, but do people really know what to expect from that, or how it works?

Besides, I don't even LIVE in the city yet. Haven't been able to find anyone to share the rent.

Ah. There is no police force here.

...and that is a very unique way to kill people.

Where is it that you live if not within the City itself?

Mm. The courts are vague but better than nothing.

This one has never advocated police involvement, but in this situation... perhaps it is necessary.
