This is a great a invocation for Winter Solstice! Of course, in Tucson, I always struggle to "call back" the sun; it never really goes away, and when it does, we don't particularly miss it.
I especially like the parallelism of the ignitions, though I'd probably stack them in the other direction: needs first, then truth, and finally passion -- just that Maslow thing that's imbedded in my psyche. :)
(I've never seen the "O" followed by an apostrophe. I don't think it's necessary. There's a great post on the difference between "oh" and "O" here: http://lhynard.livejournal.com/371375.html)
Thanks. I really just wrote it because we have had a ton of rain and cloudy skies here and yesterday the sun actually came out to visit.
I wrote this, literally, as I was offering it. I just wrote what I was saying what came out of my mouth and heart. That said, I agree, had I edited I def would stack them the other way as well.
