The Green Knight.

"Come and Be Welcome" because it is a wonderful opening for a bardic circle.
"The Old Duke" because I was proudly sing a song about Finnvarr.

I like "Stand Beside Me Brother" too.

Long ago, I was a moderatly serious mundane archer. I was shooting
four days a week, two evenings and two lunchtimes. A
FITA round is 60 arrows. I'd likely get 6 full rounds in during the week.
But that's only 360 arrows a week. A thousand would be very hard indeed.
The problems with archery are always space and safety, as you know.
In those days, I carried a bow and arrows around the U of T campus for most of two days a week.
The case was actually a rifle case; today I'd wind up in serious trouble doing that.

The guy who said it was widely regarded as being a jerk. I never questioned the reasonableness of his 1,000 number. I just thought it was a shame he wasn't going to pursue something until he could devote enough time to something to be at an awesome level.

I won't write until I have enough time or money to spend a year writing a novel.
I won't dance until I can spend enough time at it to become a professional.

There are a variety of drills that you can do to work on fencing when you are not at practice- both foot work and sword work. These drills won't teach you fencing, but they might help you work on some of the muscle memory that helps you concentrate on other skills at practice.
