I wrote out the story in the car going to Late Winter Shoot. That would be the story as I then understood it ending with me handing the bow to their Excellencies. When Aelfwyn recognized it as hers, I remarked that the story had been a wase of my time. Piers said to write it out anyway, that the new twist just added to the story.

That's a very cool tale....I'm glad Piers has the bow. But what of the Baronial bow? And what does Genevieve the Fletcher have to say of the two bows in her case?

The bows were in Jeff's case, not Genevieve's. One was the bow that he purchased and the other was apparently one that Aelfwyn loaned/gave him.

I have no idea where the bow is and am no longer interested in being the one who takes up the search. Part of my interest 2-3 years ago was to find it so that I could borrow it for my own use. Since Piers and I now own 5 bows between us, I have no personal interest in it. That isn't to say that if I found it or found out any information regarding it that I wouldn't gladly pass it on to the barony, just that I am not going to actively look for the bow.
