:: Hug :: Lighting hitting the property? Yeah, I'd have freaked out a bit. Acts of Nature are great..at a slight distance. The storm actually ended up taking out power for the space of about a city across the street from my store.

Funny thing is I *expected* to lose power - we have a backup generator that comes on automatically when it is off for about 30 seconds (maybe it's 15) but the power never even blinked! And we are at the end of the line - they had to put in 2 poles just to get the power lines down to us.

My power has been off and on since Friday night. Damn thunderstorms. Anyway, I miss your posts and your comments.

Ugh, what a nightmare. I know what it's like to be without water and it's horrible.

i just got off the phone with Jamie, and we now have gravel! and a completed driveway!

Woot!

And the water is quite fixed now... and we have a couple of 5 gallon jugs of water "just in case"
