I have to say I was surprised. Thanks for the little library Wayne, and the- switchblade Dick. [amused] The book of course too, Dickens is very festive. Cissie, Mel, thanks too. And Quatre and Johan. It was certainly a more... relaxing Christmas than Gotham usually offered, [taking a sarcastic tone] even with the 'special gift' from our

[an exhale, then lowly] I share the sentiment. Everything he's done to Cissie, Mel and Dick- everything he did and is apparently going to do in Gotham. [almost hesitant to speak but he continues after a moment] Everything would be easier if we just took care of him now. No one else would get hurt but-
[a bit stronger in tone] We're not him. Settling for revenge out of anger and spite- if we let that happen we're setting a precedent here that could cause chaos. That's exactly what he would want. Sure we would be satisfied now but the event could be used as an excuse in the future for innocent people to be hurt unjustly.
We need to be careful with this, and it has to be a just and unanimous decision if it can be. [tired but with a smile in his tone] You ready for the workload ahead there Quatre? Something tells me it isn't going to be smooth sailing.

[tiredly] I've been thinking that myself. If anyone is biased against that man it's me. Well, or the Batman. But I... I can't stay away from this Quatre. I have to make sure this is fair if nothing else. Everyone deserves that, even scum like him. [with a forced lightness] I'll trust you to let me know when my bias becomes to much.
[a pause then almost softly] We need to see this through to the end Quatre.
