Veronica Mars? I love you. That's, uhm, the whole show. Not just Veronica. (Even though I totally love her too.)

Cut for 2x08 spoiler stuff... )

Just when I though that this show couldn't go darker, it exceeds the boundaries it had previously constructed. It really made me sit up and quit being so blaise about the MotS. Damn you Rob Thomas and your seedy underbelly!

No kidding! :D And it's only 8 episodes in at this point--looking back to where I was sitting last year, it's just nuts.

Logan! And Weevil!

I thought I could keep my emotional distance from Veronica/Logan, but after that episode, forget it. I'm on board, even though as a parent I think Keith should make sure they never lay eyes on each other again.

Oh yes, Keith is completely warranted in never wanting them near each other again. If only he knew...

Poor Logan! He saves her life and she gets mad because she needed him to save her. Sigh. It's hard to be the knight in shining armor for the girl who prides herself in self-reliance.

What was up with that whole contest thing at the end? Are they merging the show with Survivor so that we can start wishing characters off the island? What if I like both of those characters and would prefer to lose Duncan?

*is confused*

Heh, Gerry thought she was being awfully ungrateful, so I did feel the need to point out that it's much easier for her to be angry at him about the gun, than to deal with the fact that she almost landed herself in serious trouble. ;]

The contest thing just threw me. Is it going to be two completely different endings, or just, ending-on-different-notes different? I don't think I'm ready for this show to become a choose-your-own-adventure...

I've been wanting to vid, write, and read VM for the last two weeks, big time. Probably because I know I have to get my Spuffy vid in gear. :P

The Riley vibe was huge in this ep. I can't wait to see how Veronica deals with being dropped by Duncan for stupid reasons *again*. Her ability to delude herself is impressive, so it should be interesting.

And if you're picking out all those tiny issues with the vid already? My work is practically done. All I have to do is show you where to click in the *good* program. ;D And it sucks, I've been so busy the last couple of days, I haven't had time to read the chapter of Iced, or anything else that's come across my radar recently--but now I have a vid to look forward to too. :}

I knew it! Duncan is terrified of who is Veronica is now

I loved this revelation as well. Whilst I wouldn't feel qualified in saying "I knew it", I like how it was foreshadowed in the previous episode by her being the "guy" and him being the "girl" whilst watching The Big Lebowski.

I am not a fic person, but I *do* have a huge VM vid bunny. So that'll probably materialise into an actual vid...oh, at the rate I've been going recently, never?

I hate it when comments fall way way through the cracks.

::crosses fingers for vidbunny::

I can be very patient on very rare occasions. This would be soooo worth it. :}
