I miss having fish sometimes...but the water here sucks and the power tends to go out too much. Few things are as annoying as a filter that won't restart properly. Especially if it's a canister filter. >:o(

I love the oscars. Scaley little puppies they are. :} I've never run a canister filter, so I don't know that pain, but there isn't much you can do when the water is against you from the start. :[ Then again, your crew keeps you plenty busy already! :D

Hehe! Unfortunately fish drama tends to play out over weeks and months. Daily updates would be more like, yep, they're still alive today. Swimming a lot. Here's a picture of them swimming... ;D

And your state-of-the-fish address is fascinating, and the pictures are very fine, including the loving studies of broken ceramic pots with added fish.

Yeah, Oscar's a real looker alright. His head was deformed and crooked before half of his face got eaten off. He's just such a sweetheart, fishly speaking, that it only makes him more endearing. In a really ugly way. ;D

I spent much time breaking, grinding the edges, and arranging those pots, so I hope the fish provide nice backdrops. ;]
