What I learned tonight...

Aug 30, 2005 02:16

I learned lots tonight. Mostly about how it was just not my night. But in harmless ways that eventually led to me collapsed in a heap on the kitchen floor, tears streaming down my face, not sure whether I was laughing or crying anymore. Now come with me, as we explore just how that came to be! And as a warning--this is gonna be a long one, ( Read more... )

OMG, you are so CUTE!! :oD

And Gerry is a saint. I'm not sure Greg would have driven me all those places. He certainly wouldn't have let me make Supersplats.

Heh, Gerry had ulterior motives, I assure you. He had trigonometry homework waiting for him at our house. ;D

But I do have to give him credit for coming up with the best place to drop the ice cream. When I realized where we were going, I turned to him with a big grin on my face and said, "*Wow*. You *really* don't want to do your trig homework do you?" Hee.

What a tale of horrors! I was much moved (to laughter, I'm afraid). But I could feel your frustration. It's horrible having your mouth all set for a particular luscious taste and getting crap instead. But three times in one night!

And "rabbit dressing" sounds like something that should have been added to the honey mustard on your sandwich. Or not. Also, I won't tell you what the word "pita" means in Polish. But how cool is Gerry?

*hopes sincerely you had a tasty breakfast*

Ooo, no, tell me the Polish translation--any excuse not to go back there and risk failure again!

Hmmm, rabbit dressing...well, couldn't have made it much worse. Ok, so, actually that would depend on what part of the rabbit you dressed it with. There were actually parts that would have made it much much worse. :P

And Gerry made a lovely breakfast this morning, so I have much higher hopes for today. :]

tell me the Polish translation

But it's a naughty word! I'm not sure I should corrupt you.

Corrupt, corrupt! If you don't, you'll just force Gerry to ask his mom!

Woe was you!

(I'm trying really, really hard not to giggle, but it's not working out that well. :) )

Icon! Woe!

And quit trying already! ;D I left out the part where I started to take a bite of that lovely pita and Gerry made me start laughing so hard that I couldn't finish biting through it. So I sat there shaking, giggling *around* the pita until I could finally control myself enough to finish the bite and get it the heck away from my mouth.

So laughing at me is a big step above just sitting back and thinking, wow, dualbunny, you are a huge dumbass. Hee. :}
