I wanted to thank the people who made it through my book-of-a-last-post. I admire you for taking the time wade through it.

And I mentioned posting something lighter, so I think I'll run through the movies we watched while hanging out with my brother the other day. It doesn't get much lighter than shallow movie reviews. :)

This seems to be an inevitability caused by *seeing* Eliza. She should probably come with a warning or disclaimer of some kind. ;D

I watched Uptown Girls last weekend...and do you remember the commercials for it? I don't think they could have been any more misleading. But I liked it too...Dakota Fanning is just incredible. I *hated* the male love interest though. I was so relived when I realized we weren't supposed to enjoy his singing.

Ditto. Big, big, ditto. :) And yes, Dakota was terrific.

I wish they'd just dropped the love interest guy. Their relationship didn't have any chemistry for me. It was messed up on both sides, and I just didn't buy it when it was supposed to end happily just because he bought the guitars. WTF? Plus, he was so cardboardy. Heh...maybe that's why I wanted to vid it--so I could cut that part of the story out completely. ;)
