Oh, dear. I was expecting Sylvia's explosion. He might've gotten off lucky. For now.

Eleven... you had better owe at least one person a huge explanation. I half want Donna to have a breakdown in front of him, just so he can see how miserable her life has been because she can't remember and have to reconsider the choices he made without her consent.

Peter, don't give up! Wilf's heart's breaking. Make her family see that she's convinced she did something terrible and how only he's made life good again. Or something to make them actually talk to you!

Glad you posted. Good luck with more!

Oh, Sylvia isn't done with Peter. Not yet. There's more than one Oncoming Storm in the DW universe. As for Eleven, his share of guilt will be served up with a heaping share of regret before this is over. And I have no idea where any of this is coming from- IRL, I'm pretty much considered at least somewhat nice.

Peter is lucky he survived that confrontation with Sylvia. Trust Wilf, though, to see that the resemblance, while very strong, is not complete. It's all in the eyes... accent notwithstanding. He's at least as good an interrogator as Peter, he didn't give anything substantial away, and he got Peter to ask the question about this "Dr. Smith" that was really on his mind, thus enabling Wilf to figure out what Donna was to Peter. Good one ( ... )

Eleven and Peter will interact more than once before this ends- and it will not be pretty. The end is already written- I'm just filling in all the spaces to support it now.

Thanks so much for sticking with this. Your fortitude and continued willingness to comment leaves me humble but happy. And although I would do it anyway, it's nice to know I'm not JUST writing this for myself.

Heehee, the Doctor is going to be stealthy and subtle? That trouble magnet? A sure signal for the Ice Warriors to pop up in the middle of his recon mission. :D

LOL, 'reeling giraffe' is SO Eleven. I've called him a flailing/awkward giraffe too and I saw it on a comm somewhere a few weeks ago!

*waves arms frantically at Peter* No, no, no no no... don't do that, Sylvia will have you for lunch! And dinner! And then keep at what's left of you! *continues reading with hands laced over eyes*

Woooo pure 100% undistilled Sylvia Noble... poor Peter!

Wilf to the rescue? He really does love the Doctor very much, poor man. He sees some things very clearly indeed, so I can tell they both learned a lot from that conversation. I wish Wilf had been able to answer Peter's question about stargazing, since it's really troubling all involved. :(

Sniffles. I do think that Donnas memory loss would be hardest for Wilf as we saw in EOT. That cafe scene just had me in tears as did this scene. Damn the angsty angst!
