Title: An Officer and the Noble Woman, Part 11 (11 of ?)
Author: dtstrainers
Paring: Donna Noble/Peter Carlisle
Beta/Co-Captain of this Ship: WhosInTheAttic- I owe you a bit more than usual on this one. And I'm still waiting on the Twins.. I miss them both.... Despite her involvement, I'm sad to say that any and all mistakes are my own.

Holy! *fans self* Oh, I loved that almost as much as Donna and Peter did. Gotta wonder how much longer it'll take before Peter HAS to have her around every night. ;)
Glad to see more. Hope your muse is cooperative this week.

No posting while:
One) tipsy,
B. No, two) in the tub,
Three or C) using an iPad, and,
Coming in a very low four, or D, or that little iv in brackets they use in footnotes) any combination of the above.
My deepest apologies and the above irritants have been corrected.
And I'm glad, really, really glad you liked it. Writing the naughty bits is always painfully difficult for me, and this one more than usual. As for my muse? The two of them have been chattering away in my head now to the point of distraction, which has been useful, given what's going on at work. Once I hit overload there, they start ping-ponging dialog around which- strangely- calms me down and keeps me going. I reckon I should be concerned when I start hearing voices, but when one of them belongs to Peter, I'm not going in for treatment.

I'm so glad you like it- I am more than a little embarrassed to write, much less post, chapters like this, and I'm never sure anyone else is going to read or like these parts of dubious content, but it just feels right in the story. I had more than a little help writing and tons of advice from my Co-Captain quite some time ago about this part, but I still stammer and blush when writing them. I love to read them, but actually writing them is just awkward and painful. Give me angst and uncertainty or playful banter any day.
Speaking of...I'm almost positive Sylvia and Wilf make their appearances next Friday, and Sylvia's in rare form. She's been ranting and raving in my head for the past week, so she's just getting wound up.

Yes, mmm, eye crinkles. I love when those are mentioned!
Oooh and the arse... I like this chapter. :D
Oh, they are so sweet... sometimes very confident, sometimes very shy and uncertain... though I think a fair bit of the confidence is just having poise and presence of mind, and shy/uncertain is really them, inside.
