I want to be happy about it, but I'm not. If it's the Pompeii explanation episode, I want Donna back. If they're explaining Children of Earth, I want Jack back. But they'd never bring Donna back. :-(
I don't know how to feel about it. On the one hand, I will always want the Tenth Doctor back, but on the other hand, it's such a risky thing, to bring back characters. I was not at all happy with the way he was handled in "The Day of the Doctor" - he was only comic relief (it would have been nice for Ten to have a successful moment in the entire thing), and DT was a bit off form (he didn't feel very Ten), and his hair! - so I'm not confident that it would turn out well. Perhaps if he would come back under a different showrunner, I would be more optimistic.
The thing in that article that made me SQUEE (and forced my husband to watch me dance around the room) was the mention of DT starting to film Broadchurch series 3. :)
My husband's somewhat facetious theory is that perhaps Twelve could bump into them as just extras, the humans who have been the basis for some of his other faces, like with that whole hinting about Caecilius.
