And here I thought it was just my trying to save money by keeping the AC from kicking on too often during the day that was making it warm in here. I was rereading the whole of the story and what do I find but a new chapter at the end. I feel so special. :D

Oh, dear. Girls day of planning surprises caught off guard. So funny, and I can tell Donna's made a new friend.

But my favorite part? The smut, as always. The descriptions and the love expressed... Not too much longer before they're more seriously talking about making things more formal and expanding the population by a few ginger half-Scots. *squees*

And now all I want is what I know won't happen. For the Doctor to leave them be. But I know something will happen to prevent that. Am waiting for the end result... and for whatever else you post. *hugs*

You flatter me, as always. Donna's always had a good sense of time, more so since the Metacrisis, so it's saying something that she lost track of time here.

And yeah, I think Peter's just about to start thinking about jewelry: maybe a band of gold with a bit of bling for her left hand, if they can just get through what's coming up. (Friday night's date is important...)

Thanks again for reading and for kind and thoughtful comments.

Gotta love Girl's Day Out, and look what Donna came back with, looks like a lot of goodies! I love how they were caught off guard by Peter's early arrival. No keys... just a thumbprint, so I guess it was a bit of a quiet entry.

Ooh, and what that led to... I have to agree with Donna, high heels aren't much use besides candy for the guys. You certainly can't walk in them (let alone run!). It also appears that they might be getting a whole lot more serious than just moving in together... I'm glad Donna's declaration that she's going to be with him forever, that it's like destiny didn't set anything off, echoes as they are of another life.

So, did Peter's phone escape damage? What's he going to tell Donna about that number, and will he call it? What will happen then?

Yeah, I've always wanted one of those thumbprint locks, but it doesn't really make sense for me. I've seen them and they are so quiet, and if I lived somewhere with public transport, I'd seriously consider it, but since I have to carry a ton of keys anyway, what's one more?

High heels- I'm already 5'9", so high heels are a bit of a stretch for me. I'm so clumsy I trip over my own feet, so I have a love/hate relationship with them so yeah, that's a bit of my opinion of them right there.

Echos of another life- yeah. Donna had a bit of deja vu when Peter was talking to her, but not as it has been before. She's starting to integrate those memories into her new life and Peter is helping her in ways no one could have anticipated.

And yeah, Peter's mobile is fine. That number is safely stored and this story isn't over yet. I did sit down and outline it all, though, and I'm determined not to add any subplots so this behemoth can finally be finished up. Otherwise, I'd keep writing for the rest of my life.

Well, I'm only 5'2", and I never liked high heels. I wore them to my wedding, and you never saw a bride circle her groom so fast! I had to, or I'd have toppled over...

I think she is integrating those memories, and even that bit of a close moment, when the Doctor panicked, she did just fine at the end. If she ever truly could remember and survive it, she'd have a few words for the Doctor herself!

I'm glad to hear the mobile survived the activities. Now we wait to see what Peter has to say to the Doctor. It's not going to be much nicer than what Donna would have said, I think. He's going to be angry and protective. That said, I think that he would need to understand in the end that, if Donna had had her way, she would not be with him at all (probably), he'd have never met her. It was like destiny....

>>“I meant to show you the green dress,” Donna breathed, suddenly self-conscious as he stalked back to her and Peter reveled in the tiny gasp she made when he stopped just shy and pulled her the last few centimeters to him. It was just enough to disturb her equilibrium and he waited until she found her footing before gently turning her to face their reflection, smiling darkly as her breathing faltered once more when she met his gaze in the mirror. Donna Noble was about as far from a shrinking violet as it was possible to be and when she decided to beguile him, she was all brass and sass, much to his delight. But when he initiated the seduction, Peter could always catch her off guard, unable to deny the depths of his desire for her ( ... )

As always, you flatter me with your praise. Actually, a bit of a guilty confession- this dynamic all started out with my son teasing me while he was watching Tangled. When Flynn pulled the "Here comes the smoulder," line on Rapunzel, Alton turned to me and waggled his brows, saying "I bet you think of David Tennant in Blackpool here, right?" I smacked him soundly on his cheeky bum and scurried off the make note of that image. The line didn't make it into the story but the attitude did.

And shoes seemed to be a central image here, between Peter studying his, Maddie retrieving hers and Donna teetering on hers. I'm not sure why, but it was fun.

Thanks again for your high praise and I'm glad you enjoyed it.
