The living room was completely dark except for a small pale light coming from the tv. Ellie’s eyes were half closed, not from sleepiness but from boredom. Last she remembered there was some old movie on TV…. Jimmy Stewart or something. One finger tangled in her long red hair and twisted a strand. How could life suck this much?
Paige was upstairs doing god knows what with Alex. Ellie shuddered at the thought and did her best to erase it from her mind. She had nothing against lesbians of course just the thought of Alex and Paige….
Anyway, so, Alex and Paige were upstairs spending “quality” time together. Marco was recovered from his Dylan grieving and was out with some friends. Spinner and Jimmy were visiting Craig in rehab. Craig she thought and tears welled in her big green eyes. She shook her head. “No,” she said aloud. She refused to let Craig do this to her.
At that moment her thoughts were interrupted by a knock at the door. It took her a moment to get to her feet. She ambled to the door and the knocking grew more persistent. “Keep your pants on. I am coming” she shouted. She threw the door open and came face to face with Manny Santos.
Manny bit her lip and then said, “Can we talk?”
