Basically this spawned from a conversation with Annie on plurk about the Persona 4 Stage Play. Baba Toru plays as Souji (the main protagonist). However she and I firmly believe that Souji is Yagyuu and Niou's love child. So I drew this whatever you want to call it, mind fuck.
Check out this awesome diagram as I try to explain myself out of this one.
The short story: Niou and Yagyuu had a son named Souji. They play a fuck ton of tennis and travel with Rikkai. Souji was left in Inaba so Niou and Yagyuu go to play tennis overseas. Seems legit.
The fucking long story: So clearly Souji will get his looks and smarts from daddyYayguu. All his charm will come from daddyNiou. After all, Souji's got all those Social Links to work on. So ladies...
Also golf club. Default beginning weapon. XD Don't know where Souji's height is from. Souji is taller than his daddies. Oh 8|||||
The really long explanation behind the fucking long story: The only other reason for me thinking this at all was because when I was still into Prince of Tennis AND Bleach back in, holy fuck, 2006, I thought Silver Pair = Hitsugaya. Hitsugaya Toushiro was the love child of Shishido and Otori.
Fast forward when I'm went to the Reborn fandom like three years later, Nikki and I did all that Yamamoto/Gokudera and G/Ugetsu spawn and DEVOTED A FUCKING WEBSITE TO IT. (So yeah, it's not first time I give my ships children)
When I was watching all of Persona 4 on YouTube two years ago, in the back of my head I kept thinking, "why does the main protagonist remind me of someone?" At the time I didn't think too much beyond that.
Then here we are in 2012, I started Prince of Tennis again, around the time I found out/was reminded that Baba was going to play as Souji in the Persona 4 Stage Play. While looking at the ridiculous amount of D1 things I had it hit me, Souji reminded me of Yagyuu. Then I went, "oh come on, Souji doesn't have brown hair, he has silver hair like Niou---- OH FU-".
And well, I stopped thinking after that.
When I start my Persona 4 game, I'm totally naming the MC Yagyuu Souji.
As an apology, have Masa/Baba doodle I drew months ago and will never finish.

... Now that I think about it, drawing real person slash isn't really going to make the mind fuck up there any better...

Hell I haven't even watched the new Hyotei and I love Hyotei maybe I'm bitter because Silver Pair didn't get a song lololoo har har har But no really, I know I shouldn't be such a dick about the new Rikkai. Look even the previous cast has gone to support them. God it makes me happy that Yagami is there.
