Cinema for the Terra Brazilis

weirgirlie? Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind has a May 7 tentative opening date here in Brazil. That's not too bad. It opens in the U.S. March 19, so it's a less than two months wait. ;-P

Also? For the lovely Brazilian LJ-ers and visitors, here's a list of tentative dates for some movies this year:

Hee! I'm so hyper with that list! I thought Veronica Guerin had already opened, so, do you see how much of a dork I am... I'm dying to see this movie! And Cold Mountain! Ah, Nicole, I miss you so much! I'm gonna have so much fun with Dogville and Human Stain, hehehe!

In the cut, I'm a bit unsure. But since it's produced by lovely miss Kidman I'll take the chance. But what made me squeal in this list was... wanna take a guess? 13 going on 30! I saw the trailler and, dude! Jen is playing herself!! Hee! It seems an idiot movie, but yet so cute! I can't wait for it!

I think Veronica Guerin was supposed to open last month, and then it got postponed. But I'm not sure... I've seen a movie *exactly* like this one, only with Joan Allen last year, I don't think I can watch that story again. It's too sad :(

And I actually have a January 30 (next week!) date for The Human Stain, but I have no idea how reliable it is... I guess we'll know for sure next week :D

Well, I don't actually want to see Cold Mountain, because I HATE HATE HATE the director. But I figure I have to, because it's Jude and I love him :)

Hi dtissagirl,

Your brushes keep being mentioned in all the icon forums I watch, and now I finally got my ass off the ground and went looking for them... but either I'm stupid or my Opera just doesn't show it correctly, but I couldn't find them on your "digital crimes" page.

Could you point me to your icon brushes, please?

Thanks so much,
Tinny.

Oh, the brushes aren't posted at the website, only here at LJ. You can find the 2 sets, in different versions for Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro, plus GIF stamps, here and here :-)

Tissa, thanks for the input.
It indeed is a very good forecast. Can't wait, though!
Now, some not-so important random thoughts on the list:
Jan 23 will be a good Friday, both movies are a goer to me...
Feb 06 is too far, McGregor!!!!!
Feb 20, and Marcia shyly raises her hand and wanna join Tissa... and, also Along Came Polly, of course!
May is too far, and many movies are there. *g* Eternal Sunshine, Van Helsing, Troy (Orlando Bloom, Brad Pitt *shudders*).
Then June reaches us, and POA is up.
Spiderman 2, Spielberg/Hanks... I guess I'll stop now.

Sweetie, holiday plans? Or just resting at home?

Well, I've seen Lost in Translation, but I wanna watch it again sometime. And Big Fish, DUDE, I can't wait. Though the one I'm going NUTS about is Kill Bill.

And uh. I don't wanna see Along Came Polly. I saw the trailer and thought it's meh. And I'm pretty sure the trailer told me the end of the movie.

And about the holiday -- I actually had stuff to do at school. And work to do at home. So it didn't really count for me :(
