I have more music to share, but I left stuff uploading while I was out last night and the connection broke midway through.

[And then I totally forgot to check until 10 minutes ago because I was watching Smallville. OMFG this show is so fucking bad/hilarious/ridiculous I can't even. *g*]

Laura Veirs is awesome, and it's pretty easy to listen to her. Joanna Newsom, however, has the weirdest voice in the world EVER, so it's okay if she's not a success. :)

Thanks for these - they currently fall into the category of things I will buy the moment I have an income again! I've been looking forward to the Joanna Newsom so much. I don't think I've had a favourite release so far this year but am really looking forward to the new Laura Marling.

Last year I had been obsessively checking EVERYWHERE to find a release date for Joanna's new album. I was really relieved when it came, because I was afraid of going crazy.

And YES! I can't wait for the new Laura Marling. I love her so much!

It's like, she's gone completely LESS crazy, but it's still SO PRETTY AND WONDERFUL, and really, there's NO ONE like Joanna around these days.

It's easy to understand why you like Laura Veirs so much. :)

Hee. I don't really know anyone else who loves her like I do, but YES. All of her albums are lovely, and I *adore* her teeny tiny voice. :)
