it's a matter of time, it's a matter of getting by

Everybody keeps saying they won't be watching much TV this upcoming season -- I haven't had such a ridiculously long list of shows in forever.

So here's my insanely insane Fall Spring TV downloading schedule. And I say downloading because that's what I do to all of them, but I don't necessarily actually watch them all [see Gossip Girl, SVU]. Hee ( Read more... )

Wow! You're going to be extremely busy, Tissa!!

I have no idea when anything is starting or what new shows there are, but I did that on purpose. I can't watch anything until I get internet set up in France, so there's no point in making myself upset that I'm missing shiny new shows.

Hee. It's a good thing I don't sleep much. :)

Seriously though, the fact that I download everything means I can watch stuff anytime I want either at home or on my phone/iPod, so it's not that much difficult.

While I'm like you and planning on a heavy schedule this fall, I guess I just don't consider it all that labor intensive because I'm not really excited about any other shows than Glee (OMG! SO EXCITED!) and HIMYM. The rest I either don't know anything about, or I'll watch just because it's there, not because I feel some deep need to see what happens next.

I think I've accumulated a lot of those kinds of shows (Lie to Me, The Mentalist, Castle, Dollhouse, etc) because now that I no longer watch TV on my TV, I miss the background noise of having the TV on while I'm cooking, reading, Photoshopping, whathaveyou. Those shows have become my white noise, so to speak.

Yeah, not much excitement here either, except for Glee. :) And on a lesser scale, Being Erica, HIMYM, LotS and Sanctuary.

Everything else is either procedurals or ridiculous crap that I watch for mocking reasons *g*, so it's kind of really easy to watch it all, either while doing other stuff around the house, or right before bedtime.

More and more I'm liking the Summer shows better than the fall shows anyway, so I don't know. I only have high hopes for Glee, anything else that ends up being *good* will be a bonus, I guess.

And yeah, I got the two L&O:UK episodes off the comm as well, but I don't want to see them out of order from the missing ones.
