You know, I've never had any doubts whatsoever that the PR offices over at FOX are incredibly shitty at what they do. And now they're at it again: a FOX publicist sent an email to dollverse.com basically telling them what they can and cannot post.Just... go read that post, really. I'm not even invested in this show anymore and that email has me ( Read more... )

It actually think FOX political motives are more insidious than Grobo's.

And if those political views are actually translating into them thinking they can control internet content that don't belong to them, then they're even scarier than I first thought.

This guy works in PR and he thinks sending bitchy emails from FOX to Joss Whedon fans telling them what to do is going to end well? ...yeah.

Wow. I don't care at all about the show, but...FOX's marketing department is complaining that someone else is doing a disservice to one of their shows? When--as I understand it--they're widely held to be a leading reason why FOX's best shows so frequently end up underperforming? Dear marketing people: please allow me to explain that whole pot/kettle metaphor to you.

Yeah, it's just so ridiculous. My theory is that since they can't send cease & desist letters to blogs that are reporting news, they're resorting to email intimidation. Which is kind of HILARIOUS when you consider the last time they tried to intimidate Joss Whedon fans they riled up so loudly Serenity was made. *g*

Hee. The song I was listening to is instrumental, so I had to look elsewhere for a quote. Hence using the one that showed up on my random quote generator at the time. *g*
