Eu super estou ignorando o U2 e ouvindo tudo com last.fm ligados mesmo. Até porque a maioria das vezes é a própria gravadora que vaza os discos -- ainda mais das bandas menores.

[e como eu finalmente decidi que eu DETESTO o U2, nem baixei, nem ouvi e tenho raiva de quem baixou e ouviu o disco novo deles!]

re: GenKill: o negócio é que desde o princípio a premissa é errada -- é só olhar pros motivos da guerra e tal. E de verdade, o *único* POV com o qual eu consigo me identificar um pouquinho é o reporter, mas mesmo assim ele me perde qdo ele se identifica com as *coisas de menino* dos outros. Mas de qquer forma, o treco é sensacional, e tem umas coisas técnicas de narrativa e ângulos e câmeras e recursos sonoros e tal que me impressionaram como há tempos um seriado não me impressionava.

E sim, eu vi os skits novos do McGruber, tava no YouTube sábado à noite mesmo. :)

I have to say, I've tried Generation Kill a couple of times, and I keep zoning out about ten minutes into the pilot. Your enthusiasm makes me think maybe I should try sticking with it instead of checking my flist/going to make a snack/falling asleep. Yes?

I had seen half of an episode and I hadn't liked it much -- I guess the thing that made me stick with it this time was that Juju talked about it non-stop for a whole afternoon and then she watched the first 3 episodes with me pretty much holding my hand through it [and kindly explaining who's who and the chain of command and the bits of Marine lingo I didn't get

I also figured out that Ed Burns the writer of this thing is not the actor/filmmaker Ed Burns, which I thought it was at first. Hmmm. Stupid people with the same name in the same profession.
