OTOH it's Eliza Dushku and Amy Acker and I HATE THEM BOTH SO MUCH OMFG PLIS DIE.

THIS. And what gets me the most is that Echo is supposed to be able to incarnate anyone ever and be perfect at it, but Eliza DOES NOT have the acting chops to pull this off. She can maybe pull off badass-street-savvy chick, but I'm expecting "Denise Richard as a nuclear scientist" levels of badness when she has to play anything else.

And I still need to catch up with 7 or 8 episodes of SPN, but I don't get how people are all over this bro x bro thing. If it was all two men enter, one man leaves then I'd be all up for it, but they'll never go there so what's the point?

YES, exactly. From the get go I've been mostly wary of Dollhouse if only for the fact that it was *Eliza* who had the FOX contract and she was the one who got Joss in. 'Cause really, I keep thinking "if it were anyone else!" Gah.

I really love the colors in Burn Notice, so I much endorse this plan of a picspam.

Also, you'd think I'd be totally hyped for Dollhouse, since, y'know, Joss, and my insane amounts of love for Tahmoh... but I just can't seem to muster any enthusiasm. :/

Thus I will have to rely on my flist for whether or not it's worth watching!

I actually find Burn Notice pretty fugly, cinematography-wise. Hee. Probably because I live where the world *is* Miami-like-colored as well? But I do love how they use the tacky atmosphere in the most brilliant ways.

I'm gonna watch Dollhouse no matter what [hi, I'm still watching Fringe and I still don't like it at all? *g*], but I'm definitely gonna need to be convinced to actually like it.

Really? I'm a big fan of the bright blues and happy colors. But *that* could be because I'm currently stuck in the middle of a place that is nothing but brown, gray, and white. :D I really want to live some place like that!

I'll probably keep up on spoilers for Dollhouse, because for some reason, I'm totally spoiled on shows I don't even watch! But at this point, unless it's on DVD, I've pretty much abandoned TV all together, and I'm not really sure why. D:

Yeah, I think it's because they make Miami look *too* gritty. It's all bright colors, sure, but it still looks harsh. I mean, comparing it with CSI: Miami, I think the CSI folks make Miami look A LOT prettier than Burn Notice, 'cause they do the bright color thing as well, but somehow it looks softer.

Re: 5.3, I laughed and laughed and laughed. Apparently the of you on Team Sam anything is hilarious to me.

I'm kind of terrified of the Dollhouse premiere, for a lot of reasons. Besides the obvious what-if-it-sucks, I've never actually been a part of or witnessed a Jossverse fandom as it was happening, I came into all of them pretty late or after the fact. And Joss fans pretty much scare me now, I sort of shudder to think what they're like in real time.

HEE. I still can't look straight at Padalecki, but this season I'm liking Sam tons better than Dean. Which doesn't really have anything to do with either Sam or Dean, it has to do with the fact that I like the whole human and demon working together [ok, sleeping together *g*] thing. In short: *RUBY* makes me like Sam. HA. Take that, stupid sexist show!

re: Dollhouse. Right now I'm just hoping it won't suck as badly as I think it will. *g* I don't really have any problem with fandom, though -- Jossverse fandom might be INSANELY CRAZY, but it'll always be my favorite fandom.

Being Erica is on Wednesdays now. =( And I think HIMYM is a repeat since Obama's talking on TV tonight.

Yeah, I figured that out. I mean, Obama is love, but taking HIMYM away from me was NOT COOL.

[Also, hi hi hi stranger, long time no see you around LJ! :)]

Because apparently, I totally 'ship Sam/Ruby and wish they actually had a storyline that wasn't so lame?

Even my shippy brain can't ship anything on Supernatural. To be honest, I liked Sam with blonde!Ruby better than with current blah!Ruby - I don't get a Ruby vibe from her AT ALL, and in my head, he's screwing some other demon. I liked Ruby, but I don't know, I haven't seen her around on Supernatural this season.

And Supernatural is disappointing like that, coming up with situations in which so many cool different scenarios would work very well, only they won't ever happen, and TPTB will just throw some shirtless Dean or Sam (*shudder*) gratuitous scene to appease the crazy wincest fangirls. Oh, well.

But it's not like we started watching it expecting real content, right?

[OMG, I'm talking Supernatural on Tissa's journal! o.O]

I liked Katie Cassidy better than whatsherface now, but I kind of don't care enough to matter? I like the idea of Sam/Ruby because I can relate them to every single one of my OTHER favorite pairings in the history of EVER, so. I 'ship therefore I am.

Also, I posted this entry right after I watched the episode, but now I'm pretty much back to not caring at all? Hee.
