I love how everything's separated in neat little sections, and it looks cleaner and it works perfectly in every possible window size and most importantly, IT HAS A LINK TO THE PERSON'S TAG LIST RIGHT THERE OMG SO IMPORTANT

Ooh... I want to hear more about your Dexter hate. Do you dislike the third season having enjoyed the first two? Or did you just hate the show on sight? ELABORATE PLZ.

I never even finished the first season. This past week I tried watching an episode and I just... UGH. I don't like the tone of the show, I don't like the characters, it's given me a couple of nightmares I could've done without and the worst of all -- I don't like it when they go for humor, which pretty much KILLS a show for me.

So yeah. Hate on sight is probably the best explanation.

Why you don't like Dexter? I've never met anyone that didn't liked the show, so I'm shocked.

But I'm loving Sarah Connor too. And I was letting the episodes pile up too.

I don't like ANYTHING about Dexter [okay, I like the cinematography, but that's not enough for me to keep watching]. I'm totally with you on Mad Men and Entourage. At this point, I can't even remember why I watched that show in the first place. And Mad Men...I don't know, it's just so infuriating and while I can look at it objectively and say it's a good show, I just can't look at it and feel anything for it.

Dexter, though, I can't agree on. Though it mostly has to do with my (somewhat inexplicable) love for Deb. I can't stand Rita since she pulled herself together (and even before then I was mostly bored with her), and Dexter... Well, let's just say I never forget that he's a serial killer, which a lot of fans seem to do.

I used to like Entourage a lot but the past couple of seasons have been just nasty and offensive and the truth is most of the time I just hate HBO for allowing all of their shows to go for shock value rather than narrative.

Mad Men is a whole other ball game -- I love it, but it makes me SO DAMN infuriated at the situations that I'd rather watch it in one go, like ripping off a band-aid or something.

re: Dexter -- I can't stand anyone on this show. Seriously, I hate every single character that appears on screen. And when they go for funny it mostly makes me want to claw my eyes out. It's the exact same thing I feel about The Office, or The Sopranos -- I know it's damn good television, but it's NOT FOR ME.

and your comments about Fernando Alonso the telenovela villain crack me up, even though i know very little about F1. i do, however, know a thing or 2 about telenovelas.

Well, it does automatically change the *.html pages to *.html?style=mine, yes. But the problem is that it'll change http://username.lj.com/ to http://username.lj.com/?style=mine as well. And I definitely DON'T wanna see *my* overly personalized header when I'm looking at someone else's LJ. It's creepy! *g*

Alonso is textbook telenovela villain. And he keeps telling the Spanish papers the most outrageous stuff and they keep believing him, it's hilarious. I mean -- last year his *boss* had to call for a press conference with the Spanish reporters so he could tell them "stop believing everything Alonso said and here's the proof he's lying".

Yeah, I've done that too sometimes, but mostly if the layout has too horrible colors I just give up 'cause, you know, why would I want to read someone who posts radioactive green text in a black background? *g*
