Dear diary, last night I downloaded the season premiere of HIMYM and then proceeded to watch it FOUR TIMES IN A ROW. And then this morning I woke up and watched it again.

I guess it didn't help that yesterday was the longest day EVER and I did about three billion different things for work and it was only 3pm when I was done and then I completely

I love that HYMIM always manages to sucker me that they're going for the sweet, touching moment, and then the girl walks out of Barney's bedroom. And yet in the very end they still manage to hit the sweet, touching moment. OH SHOW.

YES, that's it exactly -- Barney's still Barney, but he's gonna watch Robin for a couple of seconds on TV and we'll KNOW how he feels anyway. I think this is what I love the most about the show. :)

It was almost reminiscent of him building her up in Sandcastles in the Sand and just being so DAMN SINCERE I WANT TO DIE.

Oh yeah, totally. And I *love it* that Barney IS the best friend he can possibly be to all of the gang.

And thanks for the caps link, but I was totally fishing for people to actually point me at specific caps and then give me text so I don't have to think, just open PS and make the icons. *g*

I swear, HIMYM has got o be the greatest sitcom EVER! It never goes where I think it will and it's so awesome.

I'm just a little bit in love with Lily for being all for Barney/Robin right now. YES.
Word! I used to be so bored by Lily and then sometimes I pretty much hated her, but she was so super awesome in this ep. LOVE!

I usually don't like sitcoms at all, so HIMYM gets to be even more special for me, because I truly really LOVE it!

Do you have any suggestions for icons? I've been in such a block lately that any help [specific caps, text, anything] would be most helpful. :)

God, yes. Barney being all sincere and earnest is a force of nature. Also, NPH does that thing with his voice going weirdly high that just makes me go AWWWW times infinity. *g*

I admit that I don't like Sarah Chalke and that makes it even harder for me to like Stella -- even though she does get good lines. But yeah, Ted/Stella is incredibly boring and you're right, she makes Ted even more uninteresting to me.
