Grissom is leaving midway through the season, although I don't think anyone knows exactly why yet.
I really like Damages! It's a dark show but I really got into the season-long mystery. The acting's great. Some episodes dragged when I watched in real time but I think marathoning the show might eliminate that problem.
. Eeeee Best Comedy Writing for Tina Fey! I hate your show but I love you! *g* Oh man, I thought I was the last person on earth who hated 30 Rock. It's so comforting to know that I'm not!
Also, I'm still going nuts over Bryan Cranston winning. That is AWESOME.
As a rule, I don't like sitcoms AT ALL. There are exceptions, obviously [see HIMYM], but 30 Rock is definitely not one -- and I can talk, because I tried for a season and a half to like it.
I really need to watch Breaking Bad one of these days. I saw the pilot, even, but then never got around to watching the rest of it.
I kinda wanna watch Damages & Breaking Bad now (and maybe Mad Men).
I mean, Piven is awesomtastic, but I wanted NPH to win so bad.
When Mad Men won and Christina Hendricks was on stage, I thought about that article about her being fat or whatever and I was like 'Uh, ok, but who the fuck cares, that girl is hot as shit!'
I never watched West Wing, but the bit with Martin Sheen kinda made me want to.
I thought the show as actually pretty good. Obviously, the hosting didn't really work, but it had some moment and I enjoyed a lot of the presenters and acceptance speeches.
I think there should be a rule that a person couldn't win the Emmys for the same character more than once. Because for real, I fear J Piv will win Best Supporting Actor forever and ever amen. And I love him, but last season's Entourage was pretty disappointing -- even his character wasn't at its best.
And you should watch The West Wing! It's such a wonderful show and cast and the parallels you can trace between current US politics and the storyline are UNCANNY. :)
I saw David B showing off his socks! OH, BOREANAZ! He was awesome presenting as well, especially as the girl presenting with him was SO STUPID she missed her cues. Gah.
And I'm not afraid of Glenn Close like you guys are, so I can watch Damages just fine. I'm gonna try and download the first season to marathon it one of these days. :)
