this man said it's gruesome that someone so handsome should care

Got a fortune cookie that said fishing in a river without fish is to fool yourself and be foolish. I kid you not.

In fact, I scanned it for posterity [except it's in Portuguese and like, only about eleven of you will be able to read it. Heh.] --

On the opposite end of the spectrum, I woke up at six am and couldn't get back to sleep, so now I'm just waiting for it to be late enough so that I can continue my spring cleaning from yesterday. So far I've read fic, filled in flist surveys and watched Jon/Stephen. And I'm still bored and still probably an hour away from being able to really do something. Though I think I'll start in on it anyway, I mean, who cares about the neighbors?

A delivery guy woke me at 8am this morning and then I couldn't go back to sleep, so around 2pm I just crashed in front of the TV. Now I'm wide awake at almost 4am. Thankfully I have 2 more days of doing nothing as Monday is a national holiday.

[Man, I seriously need to do some spring cleaning as well. I've been putting off cleaning my closets since Christmas!]

Closets! Those are next for me. I just spent the past hour hauling stuff from my cellar storage space up to a dumpster, so now I've got lots of storage space again, yay!

I kinda took Friday off, so my three day weekend is coming to an end today, and I've spent most of it doing stuff like hauling trash bags to the dump, throwing away old monitors (TWO!) and sorting out even more stuff to throw away. And later I'm going to IKEA. To buy more stuff that will, no doubt, eventually be thrown out. Materialism!yay!

I'm not a pack rat AT ALL, but I just haaaaate to sort out my closet. And I know there's a bunch of crap in there that I can get rid of, I just usually find better things to do with my free time. :)

I managed to read the first half of that fortune cookie with my knowledge of Spanish, then I got to those two 't' words and got stuck. LOL

Hee. Yeah, I think those two words are strictly Portuguese. :)

Honestly, I think the show looked better in 35mm than it did in HD. 4-6 were kind of the golden years of shininess.

Oh yeah, definitely. In fact, I think even today with hi-def DV cameras and such, 35mm film still makes everything looks better. It's a shame it's so expensive [and oh so complicated] to work with on television.

Não seria "rio em que não há peixe", fortune cookie?

Eu acho que tanto faz. Se bem que o China in Box não pode ser chamado de bom de gramática. E tipo: "pescar num rio sem peixe", muito mais fácil, direto e elegante.
