Agora, eu li "Vou ver Threads hoje. Threads = Jack/Sam ONLY, the end." Heeeeh.
I'm a bit behind on the flist, but I just read your post and man -- YES. Auto-tune makes me wanna headdesk until I'm brain damaged. And it's even worse when we realize most people have *no idea* that what they're hearing is pretty fake.
Yay, awesome list that I'll have to go through with a fine-toothed comb later on.
My freeware musts:
Foxit Reader. Much faster launch than Adobe, and when I absolutely must use a reader for .pdfs instead of viewing it in html with my handy pdf extension, this is the only program for it.
Core ftp. Not news, but I noticed you didn't have an ftp program up there.
WordWeb. I don't know how I managed without this. I use this in all sorts of programs for a variety of reasons. I love that you can see the list of close-lying words, in case it can't give you an idea for what misspelled word you might be after.
Zoom Player. I'm sorry, I know you swear by VLC, but I'm still not even close to being won over while I still have Zoom Player around. I just can't do without the playlist feature (I have playlists for YEARS, adding shows I haven't watched, removing episodes I have, etc.), and since I have an old version with the DVD player included for free (as I understand it, it now only comes with a media player, the DVD player carries a charge
( ... )
I've used CoreFTP, but the FTP program I use the most [FlashFXP] isn't free, so I didn't list it. And I forgot about WordWeb! Gah. I can't live without it, I use it a hundred times a day. :)
The thing I love the most about VLC is that it'll correct broken AVIs to play them. I've never seen another player do that, and since my connection isn't that fast, I'd rather have a player that'll ignore problems than re-download something.

I use dbPowerAmp for converting stuff [though it's not free], but MusicBrainz sounds eeenteresting. Tag detection = love. :)
