Per shipperx per the Hollywood Reporter: Amanda Peet has signed on to XF2. And the guy who hosts Pimp My Ride is gonna be an FBI agent as well. There's not enough WTF in the universe

I've seen the Pimp My Ride guy in other stuff and he isn't half bad. I actually didn't mind his being cast. Peet on the other hand -- UGH!

I've only seen him on Pimp My Ride, and he's okay as a host, I guess. The movies he's been on are not exactly my type.

But yeah, Amanda Peet has the knack for turning would-be interesting characters in complete acting DISASTERS. Studio 60 is right there to prove it.

Bem, pelo menos eles não estão mentindo... apesar da alfinetada básica na Warner por estar anunciando Californication como a volta do escolhido à terra prometida e talz.

Acho que a gente vai ter que ver XF2 bêbadas.

if by the Pimp My Ride host you mean Xzibit, i have to wonder whether they cast him because his name starts with X.

I didn't completely dislike AP *until* Studio 60. But she KILLED the character so badly I mostly just wanted to hit her upside the head really hard. Ugh.

The evil part of me wants this movie to tank so badly people will use it as example of HOW TO LET THINGS GO for the next century.

Peet I am totally "meh" about, Xzibit... well, I'd say shipperx has it covered with "isn't half bad." I'm pretty excited about Connolly, though. He's awesome.

"Isn't half bad" in my mind equals mediocrity. I dunno. Right now I'm hoping this movie tanks big time. And I'll reserve the right to change my mind if I can get my hands on spoilers that prove me wrong.

I suppose I'm just enjoying the ride this time. I wasn't "involved," per se, back in 1998, so I missed out on all the fun then. I've been having a lot of fun this time, and in my mind, since I don't really have any lingering bitterness about the show, it's win-win. Even if it turns out to suck, at least I had fun on the way there, and if not? Well, that's obviously a win. But hey, to each their own. ;)
