I'd tell you guys about the saga that was to get my new DVD Player actually delivered to my house, but I've yelled at so many people in the past 3 days that I pretty much just want to forget it ever happened.

may i ask, what software do you use to make them playable on your dvd player? i ask because i have the shits with my current software, and have been looking for new stuff to try out...

The new player I bought accepts DivX, so I just burn the episodes the normal way [as "data" instead of making VCDs] with Nero.

Well, it seems my package was picked up by USPS today. The package is in Atlanta. The delivery address is Atlanta also. So, I am crossing my fingers, hoping the standard delivery does not take 10 days. Actually, it should take 3-5 business days, as per Amazon FAQ. And, I sent a bunch of emails complaining, that they refunded the freight charges. At least.

Cara, Marcia. Eles mandaram meu DVD via TAM Express porque eu dei um ultimato que ou eles entregavam no final de semana ou eu ia no Procon a 1a coisa hj. Tiveram que gastar mais com o frete do que eu paguei pelo treco. Tipo, claro, pro Submarino não é nada. Mas BEM FEITO.

Yeps, funciona direitinho. E não, não precisa fazer VCD. Ele toca os AVIs mesmo, exatamente como toca mp3 e MPEG -- aparece o diretório de arquivos e vc escolhe o que quer ver.

Yeah, so annoying. The worst part of it is that it looks like they just *forgot* to code it when they changed the editinfo page. Bad LJ!
