-- askdfknfedfsldkslGUH. Wimper-- It's so fucking hot I got up in the middle of the night to take a shower. TWICE. Gaaaah. Please please please, Summer, GO. AWAY. I'm begging you

I think it's unfortunate that Matthew Vaughn has the name he does because every time I see it my mind inevitably goes through the same pattern - "Vaughn! Alias! Wait, no, Matthew... is he the England cricket captain? No, he's Michael as well, right? But with an extra 'a' in 'Vaughan'. So who's this guy? Is this the guy that married Claudia Schiffer?"
Layer Cake (or as they are for some reason promoting it here: L4YER C4KE - ew) is being touted as the best new British film since... whatever the last big new British film was, but no-one I know has seen it, so I'm pretty sure it's all talk.
Well, to be fair, I think he gets bonus points for producing Guy Ritchie's movies [it's also funny that this guy's an American and yet he's making the 'best British film of 2004'... which Guy Ritchie was supposed to direct, even].
Although that includes Swept Away and then he probably loses all points I just gave him. And then some. *g*
I've loved Much Ado ever since I first saw it back in 1993. It's by far my favorite Shakespeare adaptation. :)
The first time I saw Life as a House I didn't think much of it, but I spent a whole week thinking about the movie and then I watched it again and fell in love. Sigh.
And man, you gotta watch eXistenZ. It's so crazy and over the top and FUN. Ah. I love Cronenberg and his crazy stories. :)
I've wathed - and loved - Much Ado About Nothing, The Safety of Objects and THe Cat's Meow, and the last two because you had recommended them. Much Ado I had already watched and loved on my own. ;)
Dude. The Safety of Objects and The Cat's Meow -- didn't we see those together? One right after the other one day at the Rio Movie Fest? I know I did it like that, and that Marcele was with me. But I think you were too, weren't you?
I have the worst memory EVER. :)
PS: How far into Farscape are you now? REPORT! /annoying
Yep, we saw it together. :D I remembered meeting you there, but wasn't sure if we went to the same sessions or not. ;P
And I saw John Quixote last night. Freaky-lookingFatMan!Zahn scared me! XD
I still can't believe they made Aeryn pregnant of the OTHER Crichton...and why is it that I'm beginning to feel sympathetic towards Scorpius? Since the episode where he showed his past to NeuralChipClone!John??
