And the flowers are brushes, yes. I think all of them were posted at the 100x100_brushes community. The ones I use the most were made by dorky_duck, pekeana or quebelly.

I don't often use brushes. But I've seen such amazing icons made with flowers similar to the ones on yours (though, your icons are always highly unique) that I may start.
