Soooo I'm about six days away from posting my SG-1 big bang, and I thought I'd let people get an idea of what it's actually about, courtesy of pairings, warnings, and the blurb I had to write when I turned in my rough draft:

I just finished what I hope is the last round of major revisions on my SG-1 Big Bang fic, which is good because, uh, I'm due to post it two weeks from tomorrow. It grew by 8,000 words in the revision process, but is still (slightly) shorter than Get Loved, Make More, Try to Stay Alive, at least until it turns out I have 2500 more words of ' ( Read more... )

Someone, somewhere wrote a story, or a semi-story meta post, or something, about the extra gear various members of SG-1/the SGC take along with them on off-world missions. I have just had the best idea ever for this next bit of edits for my SG-1 bigbang story. What I cannot tell is whether it is the sort of best idea ever that requires a lot of forward remodeling to the rest of the story but leaves it WAY MORE AWESOME, or if it is the kind of best idea ever that requires a lot of remodeling and causes your story to ( Read more... )

So a few weeks ago my external hard drive--where I kept all my music--started dying. I managed to get all the music onto my laptop (and thence onto my shiny new 1TB backup drive), but this also required me to re-import everything into iTunes from the new location (which I dodged doing when I got a new computer thanks to having all the music on the ( Read more... )
