So months and months ago I wanted to write a story where Bucky comes to Steve and confesses that he has always been in love with Steve, and Steve is totally blindsided because he never thought of Bucky that way, but he wants to try a relationship--and then there's a whole uncertain process of trying and figuring things out en route to them both

I started an Instagram just for this purpose. I was posting WIPs on my art Tumblr for a while because it keeps me motivated to see the progress, but seeing the unfinished WIPs get reblogged and not the finished drawing is kind of like being dipped in cold water so now I post my wips on Insta instead. Okay, this was gorgeous. The negotiation made me want to cry and then I was actually crying, but with happy feelings, you know? I want so much for them. What a beautiful start for them. Awkward and strange, and wonderful. Having Bucky instigate the conversation, and remembering that he used to have very sexual feelings towards Steve, and even though that's changed, his feelings for Steve haven't. And Steve taking little steps to test out if they could do this, AAAAAAH! It's beautiful.
