Saturday: received last edit pass on The Omega's Pack and also the second-round edits on the forthcoming gay Catholic vampire novel I sold to Less Than Three Press in June. Elected to focus on the really urgent priority.

Sunday: spent the day doing last edits/

Aaaaaah Prima Nocta was such a riveting read! I swallowed it whole yesterday. The world building was really fascinating and I've got a lot of feelings about what Tony's doing. Aside from all the other feelings I'm having, omg.

I read the Mary Sue article. I agree with you about every fanfic having someone out there who's desperate to read it, and I love that the AO3's tagging system makes it soooo much easier to find that story you desperately need at that moment.

Downloading Prima Nocta now. Is the Gen tag an error, or is this really a gen story about sexual slavery? I'm eager to find out!

And, yes! Gay Catholic vampire book is happening. As soon as I convince the editor that no I really cannot take out the Catholics to make it less complicated. *facepalm*

Yes, that one! Luckily I was able to get my editor on the phone and we had a ten-minute talk about what I could do to fix it that is not that ("What if I made Patience a dude?" "Oh, are you willing to do that? I didn't want to suggest that because ladies are great but DO THAT.") and then spent two hours chatting about fandom, so that was cool. *g*
