You're welcome! It's a Thing now, so I am pretty doggedly determined to keep going with it long after everyone else has ceased to care. :)

Hee! It's hilarious that you need these disclaimers, but so true.

Also, mind if I friend you? I'm just still fangirling your bechdel stories like mad and don't want to miss out/wait until debrief!

In season one I had to have a special disclaimer for 'two people of color but TEAL'C IS BOTH OF THEM.' :)

Feel free to friend! Welcome!

This is so fab, thank you very much for going to so much trouble.

I feel I should do this for DS9, I wonder what the stats would be like? But then I am statistically challenged (dyscalculia as well as dyslexia! There is no hope for me!).

For POC you have Sisko and Jake and his Dad (who's name is escaping me) and Cassidy in later episodes. Worf. The oh so distracting Bashir.
Kira and both Dax's must have some conversations to fulfill Bechdel criteria? Kir and Winn certainly did.

Oh, I loved DS9.

Perhaps you could get someone to help with the math once you tallied the individual episodes? (I just make a list of who talks, when I'm watching, and then count up afterward, and make the chart and figure out totals at the end of the season.)

In any case, I'm glad you liked this!

Hi, I'm here via rheanna27, who pointed out that you're running the Bechdel test, which is something I'm also in the middle of! I'd been thinking of doing a race-version of the test, and it's gratifying to see it already in action - I hope you're ok with me continuing to run it? I've joined characterscount at DW and will link in my post to your lj for others who might be interested.

(I'm running the test on various incarnations of Star Trek, btw, and there's a few others on my flist who are interested in joining in for various other shows.)

Oh, by all means, I am delighted to see someone else doing counts! I do hope you'll also consider adding your counts to the Wiki!
