There was a point a few years ago when I seriously considered rewatching all of SG-1 just so I could critique all the shit that is wrong with it. I mean, I love it as much as you can possibly love a really stupid tv show, but boy. Television Without Pity style, all the things they did right and then all the millions and billions of things they could have done better. Obviously this project was way beyond the scope of my attention span.

Yeah. I'm both rewatching because I love those guys and rewatching to count up the demographics (women and people of color) so I'm catching lots of the things they did wrong in those departments--which is not even to begin to think about some of the other things they also did wrong.

Foothold isn't great in terms of, say, the Bechdel test, but fuck it's a fun episode. :)
