Yeah, it was when I was working full-time and going to school part-time, and so time was LIMITED. I read it in bed at night. *g*

fucking fabulous recs, BOTH. And interestingly, both are - or were - fairly hard to come by. AuK's, you still need her password to the site. And "Ghosti" was only available in the zine until, what, maybe 6 months ago? I wondered if that was why I loved them both to much - the anticipation fulfilled after so long trying to get my hands on them.

but every time I re-read either of them, I love them even more.

I'm so re-reading "Ghosti" when the kid goes to bed. ♥

Yeah, i was thinking the same thing, that they are both fics that I read later on, and that are NOT easy to find. GOD. I remember when hth_the_first posted Ghosti, and I just FELL in love with it, you know? And Strange Loops ate my life.

I want to reread Ghosti now, because I've actually only read it all the way through one time, and I think it might be time for a reread. YAY.

You should SO reread it too!

100% agreement! I was warned to NOT START it late at night. and yet? I clicked at 11 PM and, uhm, had ot call in sick to work the next day. True story. I just - COULD NOT STOP. And then had to go back and read, uhm, certain key scenes. again. and again.

man, that fic has one of my all-time favorite first kisses EVER.

and ass-fucking. GREAT ass-fucking.

(RAY! as a SCIENTIST. Fraser, smoking! swearing! It COULD NOT GET HOTTER.

So, how does one get hold of Strange Loops if one lives in a country the author disapproves of? (In my case, Scotland). I tried to get a password once, but was told that my ISP was untrustworthy (or something like that, I can't remember exactly).

I'm not trying to get at the reccer, but I do think it would be helpful to warn for this kind of thing, or perhaps to have a mod rule that stories should only be recced if they are accessible to all.

I think you could try to e-mail aukestrel again. I knew this would be an issue when I recced the fic, but I decided that it was worth it to rec it for however many people would be able to get the password and read it.

Sorry!

I've read almost everything in this fandom, except Aukestrel's stuff, which is locked (of course, I've read her fics in archives). A year ago I tried asking for password via email but no luck. I guess my IP is suspicious or something. Now you got me all interested about Strange Loops again (I've heard about this fic before, hence asking for password) and I wonder if maybe I should try once more. Really, it's like waving a candy in front of a child.

You should definitely try again! I don't know how she decides who to give the password to, but I think the fic (and all of her stuff, frankly) is worth the little bit of extra energy.

Good luck!
