These are definitely two of my very favourite casefics, and for all of the reasons you mentioned: both give GREAT Kowalski. Terrific backstory, great characterization(s), and the F/K action in each story is deeply satisfying. I loved the recent audiofic version of "Teeth of the Hydra"; listening to it reminded me why it's such a spectacular story. And SB's "Fair Share" is just...wonderful. It's almost two fics for the price of one, because we get the great casefic elements and then a great F/K est-rel story, too. Oh, FIC. *happy sigh*

I love SB to death, I really, really do. She is teh awesomesauce, mostly 'cause she writes such wonderful stuff.

Like a sex scene with Ray chiding Fraser for having Turnbull lie for him...yeah, the second part is equally sweet and sexy...
