Fraser/Ray K, looking for longish stories

Sep 06, 2010 17:34

I am quite new to this and I am looking for long stories featuring Fraser/Ray K. (slash)

If you have any good stories you could point out towards a newbie I would appreciate it. Like I said, I am looking for long ones.

Thanks.

How new are you? I have loads of recs (seriously LOADS - this fandom has been around for a long time), but don't want to inundate you with things you've already seen.

Have you read Speranza's stuff, for instance?

I see you have a number of good recs now (Kellie Matthews, Chrysothemis, Bone and her collabs with Aristide and Starfish are all wonderful writers who have lots of lengthy stories on their sites). Resonant and China Shop are also amazing, and JS Cavalcante has some great long F/K stuff. I also have a bunch of recs here:

http://sprat.livejournal.com/87043.html#cutid4

(It's a multifandom rec list but that link leads to the dS section specifically; many of the stories there are F/K).

Hope you enjoy!

Or you can wade through the 700+ recs at crack_van here. Also, there are some stories up at the Big Bang site. Also try the length: long on the sidebar.

You can find some great F/K recs over at epic_recs. (Also listed on delicious, which makes it easier to search by length, genre, etc...)

Newbie? Welcome to the fandom. Who or what infected you with this incurable disease called "Due South" we don't really want to be cured from? :D

There are loads of good fanfic in this fandom, with two major archives: http://dueslash.com/new and http://www.squidge.org/~dsa/

*points at commenter above* sprat's stories are very entertaining - I simply adore some of her stories - and as she pointed out, Speranza's stories are always a good idea.

Other than that, since there are far too many good writers in this fandom, I can only point you to my bookmarks: due-south. I have over 900 stories bookmarked there, and yet those are only a small percentage of well-written stories in this fandom, worth reading repeatedly for one reason or another ( ... )

Kellie Matthews is the first person to spring to mind for "classic" long Fraser/Ray K ( ... )

the last few stories sound great, do you have links? and what's a marks.org?

The "militant rayK separatists" - it was probably a good idea at the time - and the acronym is pretty obtuse (i.e. I had to ask several somebodies before anyone would tell me) and unused by anybody. I only asked because I have trouble remembering acronyms without a rubric.
