wondering if there's interest
I'm still feeling very sad about Leslie Nielsen's passing, and I wonder if any of you all would be interested in playing in a Leslie Nielsen Memorial Buck Frobisher Thing-athon? The idea would be to post fic, art, comics, vids, podfic, etc. of any length and type that features Buck in some way. Drabbles/Drawbles are FINE; so is longer/more complex work.
a few ideas:
serious!Buck from Manhunt
goofy!Buck from All the Queen's Horses & Call of the Wild
the untold adventures (like a marriage *g*) of Bob and Buck
Bob/Buck/Caroline
Buck/Caroline before Bob
Buck/Bob before Caroline
Buck looking in on wee!Fraser after Caroline's death
etc.
I'd also be good with people playing with other fandoms, too, if they wanted--basically anything Leslie Nielsen was ever in.
The plan would be for me to put up a master post on ds_noticeboard for everyone to post their stories/art/vid/podfics (or links thereto) in the comments. I think leaving it open for a couple of weeks might work...? Or maybe until the end of the year?
Does this seem doable? I know the holiday challenge season is upon us, but it doesn't take long to write 100 words, and I really want to imagine Bob (and Caroline) welcoming Buck into the afterlife with open arms.
