This is an intriguing AU!

I wasn't sure at first -- it came across like Bad!Vecchio. But the character grew on me, coming back wrong, not wanting to be, desperate for a taste of what he'd grown accustoimed to in Vegas.

That massage scene was wonderfully tense, with this moment not covered in his briefings that could get him killed if he did something out of character.

I enjoyed it, but I get the feeling this was rushed in under the wire. I think you, working with a good beta, could bump it up to the next level.

Well, the prompt did say hard-nosed. Thank you for taking the time to both read and leave constructive criticism. I'm glad you found it intriguing. It gets kind of hard to find newish slants. I figure you pretend to be a mob boss for a year, it's bound to leave a mark ( ... )
