Oh...this is sweet in the best possible way. You sketched a beautiful picture, just enough detail to understand the context without actually overwhelming with detail.

*applauds*

A delightful use of the prompt. Thank you so much for sharing this!

Thank you so much *g* It took Pru's shrewd eyes to pare the fic down to a good size.

Love this, exbex and pru. It's quiet and gentle and yes, sweet but in a realistic and not cloying way. You've chosen such lovely moments to share with us.

As a mom of young kidlets, I'm finding that when it's written well, kidfic with the child growing up reminds me how soon my own will be leaving the nest. This is no exception, and it's with a tear in my eye that I write this. But that's a good thing - it means you've written it in a way that touched my heart.

I was totally joking, but the more I think about it, the more intrigued I am...

This was fun. I think kidfic is easier in dS, in that its problems are rather like real life, even if its solutions aren't. Wonder how they did on that finding Benny someone...

Thank you *g* I agree. As far as Fraser, I'm going to assume that he settled down with someone and adopted four children.

This was lovely, a good mix of sweet and funny.

He felt a tightness in his chest. He crossed his arms and squeezed his eyes shut, breathing deeply, trying not to let the tears fall. He had decided long ago that good was not something that came to him. This was a long time coming.
