Oh, understatedly angsty, and hot!

I like when fic goes into the realistic aspects of an established relationship. And falling into a rut and getting more and more insecure is certainly realistic and something all couples go through.

I *adore* the first section of this, how Ray's POV leaves out just enough that it's not clear whether they're keeping pace in their worrying. (But I'm so happy you address it later, because a totally oblivious Benton is sad!) Great "fixing" resolution without being too pat about it.

Thank you so much for your encouraging comment! I was half tempted not to have any resolution whatsoever and leave it all angsty-hurting, but I couldn't do that and sleep well (for the ghost of Ray Kowalski would kick me in the head) but I really was trying to avoid the whole 'men discussing their feelings' thing too.

Heh, yeah, I don't imagine Ray will EVER come clean with that story...maybe on their 50th anniversary or something. heh. ALthough I imagine more porn shopping to be in their future!
