Hi guys. This is my first ever due South fic, so I hope you like it. Also, my first time posting to a community, so if I did something wrong please let me know. Finally, it's been beta'd by me, so of course any mistakes are my own :)

Absolutely lovely!

Especially this: Fraser loves being strange, because it makes Ray smile at him.

Awwww ...

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it.

Yeah, I think that was my favorite line as well.

1) I love numeric fic.
2) Your cast of characters -- especially the usually under-served ones --makes for a challenging undertaking, but you more than meet the challenge.
3) Each section is a marvelous little nugget of inspiration.
4) Your characterizations make me smile and nod.
5) Maggie!
7) Margaret!
8) Completely cleverly conceived and written.
9) Welcome!

1) Me too!
2) Thanks! I actually had problems thinking of enough characters to write about for the number of definitions, but a few of them (Dewey, Huey, and Maggie) were there from the start.
3)Aw...you're making me blush...
4)Thanks, I was actually a bit worried about a few of them, but I'm glad you like them.
5)Maggie!
[6) I love your fic!]
7)Margaret!
8)It just got into my brain and it wouldn't let go.
9)Thanks! Everyone's been totally awesome (as you can see from the cool reviews I've already gotten) and I really love this community - so many great fics.

Wow, this is so neat! I'm impressed you were able to write so well, in such an emotionally rich way, on such a range of characters, and still make it flow together.

Thanks so much! I'm glad you liked it. I was a little worried about how well it would flow, but it seems to have worked out.

Thanks! I was going to put one about Welsh in there as well, but there weren't enough definitions and I kind of forgot.

Wow! This was a fantastic idea - very clever. And I love the way you didn't settle for one mood, but instead created so many with each definition - from sad to funny, from resigned to hopeful. I hope you'll keep on writing!

Thanks! Some of them wrote themselves, but some of them I had to actually look at the whole and figure out what mood I wanted to set for *this* fic for it to blend into the whole story without making it lopsided with the angst or something. And considering how much the story kinda demanded to be written, and how fast it went, I'm sure I'll be back.
