Title: Untouched Author: Capella Rating: G Words: 516 Notes: RayV/Stella, angst. Because after writing Wrong for out_of_con_txt I couldn't stop thinking about how RayV got there.
I love your word usage and imagery in this - so crisp and clean. Just right.
Looking at it as a prelude for your out_of_con_txt fic just makes that situation look even more disastrous, though...
Immediately after reading this I thought, "well, that makes sense, Ray is going for Kowalski because he can cope with damage and has the relief of thinking that it won't make too much of a difference there."
Then I kicked myself and thought, "actually, thing is, Kowalski's a guy, so Ray wouldn't think he needed protection, not in that way."
What with Vecchio, Kowalski and Stella all being in a bad way, I'm kind of worried what's going on with Fraser in the world of these fics!
Thank you! Crisp & clean is what I aim for, generally, as I lack the imagination and skill for more complex imagery. If it worked here, I'm glad.

Funnily enough, I'm part way through a follow-up to Wrong that does touch on that, just a little. I can't believe I'm abandoning all my other writing (and extremely pressing RL) projects to write Ray/Ray! What is happening here?
And I think your analysis of why Ray V feels he can go for Ray K is right on both counts to a certain extent, but there's a lot more to it as well. Which will probably come out in a fic at some stage. If I'm not careful this could end up being an epic. *Bangs head on desk*

Lovely and painful.
I'm glad you thought so. Any way Ray leaves Stella has got to be painful, really. I just can't go along with the consensus that she kicked him out.
