February Celebration: Ficlets & a rec

Okay, so this was my actual posting day and I come bearing two ficlets and a rec.

The ficlets prove the old adage 'there is nothing new in fanfic' as like hyel who posted her ficlet earlier in the month, I too had the idea of love letters.

I'll be reading your rec as soon as I have a spare moment to do it (which, with my actual share of work could easily be next year).
But your letters? They are amazing! I love the idea: both of them writing and treasuring those words they can't share :)
Ray convincing Fraser about how ok his mother would be with both of them together is more than cute. Because Ray's mom is important to him, and he knows Fraser would never do anything which could put in danger that.
And Fraser... so, so him. I mean, yours respectfully in a love letter doesn't sound quite appropiate, and yet... is Fraser *smiles*
He's so sad, and yet, he tries really hard to not let this sadness shows, even when he's not sending the letter. Because this is who Benton is, to the core: kind and loyal and a little bit insecure about which his place is in... everywhere and everybody's lives.

You already know I love these letters. They still make me sniffle. I do think you have them just roght. I love the way Ray mentions his mother and the way Fraser struggles to admit his feelings.
