Heh. This was the first Bobby/John fic I ever read, waaaaaay back a long time ago. Jenn's a great writer. AU after the first movie I believe, since it was written after that but before X2. Unless I'm wrong, which is possible. It's been a while.

Her Jubilee there is still one of my favorite characterizations, and I love her Rogue as well.

My first Bobby/John fic too :)

I think you're spot on about where it falls in movie canon. It's my favorite AU, cuz she wrote with so much focus. It really leaves little to be desired, and that's saying something coming from me. I'm the kind of kid that yells at the horror movie when the brilliant chicka decides not to run from the blood-strewn serial killer. lol.

I kinda suspected people have already read it. It's been around for so long. Anyways, thanks a bushel for not killing me for an old rec!

Ah, one of the early classics! I remember way back when this first came out... It was basically what brought me into the Bobby/John fold. Thanks for posting this again, I'm sure there are lots of new readers who have never seen or heard of this one, and it's one of the best ones out there. Well, that's what I think, anyway.
