Poor Bobby! That was sad. And I wanted him to join the Brotherhood, even if it's bad.

I like how Magneto and Mystique let John do what he wants in this.

You know, I originally meant for Bobby to do join the Brotherhood, but he just wouldn't cooperate.
And I think Magneto knew that trying to stop John would be pointless ^_-

Oh my, that was just gorgeous, full of so many different kinds of hurt. The pain behind Bobby's collapse, the imagery of the frozen suburb, all so beautifully realised. I loved the way their interaction is so difficult on John's side, so awkward and something he feels he has to resist, but Bobby seems to find it so natural to just relax into it, and the sex was just so perfectly frantic and full of everything they couldn't say. Damn, I just adored this so much.

Aw, thank you so much! This means a lot, coming from you. It was a bit difficult to write a hurt/comfort fic, when one of the parties involved absolutely refuses to be comforting. John is not very good in this kind of situation, but he did his best for Bobby.

I'm glad you liked the fic! I've had some trouble with ending, actually. I meant to have John say mean things to Bobby until he'd throw him out, but somehow it just didn't feel right. So, this ending was born.
