Aww, I'm so glad you like it! I was worried for a while (but I worry about everything apparently). I tried really hard to do what you wanted (luckily we have similar tastes ;)) I thought about using 30 Seconds to Mars but it just didn't seem to fit. I've seen them in concert and they're more big flashy stuff instead :)

Okay it was lovely, but I'm gonna do a reponse!fic to this as soon as I'm done with the actual present I'm making for the challenge which is actually almost really close to done. I'll show what I had in mind especially who the other person was gonna be! Jack's Mannequin is nice very much so. I saw 30 seconds to mars on one of the concert shows on MTV that had that "underground" feel to it so that's why I asked. Also, I'm gonna see them this month.

Muse would have been great too I think, but it would be VERY LOUD.

I think you'll like the fic very much since it'll cover almost the same ground especially the how it feels to be a mutant part.
